Rosé de Saignée

This Rosé de Saignée from Champagne (France), is a masterpiece of winemaking artistry. This exquisite rosé is crafted using the saignée method, where color and flavor are extracted from the grape skins in a carefully controlled process, resulting in its distinctive pink hue and depth of flavor. On the palate, it delights with a complex character of red berry fruits, hints of spice, and a subtle minerality. It's an ideal match for Mediterranean cuisine, grilled fish, light pasta dishes, or enjoyed on its own.

Grape Variety / Blend: pinot noir

The nose of this champagne wine from France reveals red fruits and violet aromas with notes of pepper and sweet spice on the palate. This is a rich Rose Champagne made with the maceration of Pinot Noir. Could definitely stand up to poultry dishes and some cheeses.

Champagne, France: Champagne Drappier

Drappier is a Champagne producer based in the Urville region of Champagne. The house, founded in 1808, produces both vintage and non-vintage cuvee as well as a prestige wine known as Grande Sendrée. Drappier is considered one of the finest boutique champagne producers in the world.

The cellars in which the wine is stored are among the oldest and most extensive in Europe, and were the only cellars that were not damaged during the two world wars or the fires that raced through the area in the 1950s.

Drappier is known for using significantly less sulfur in their wine than many other Champagne producers. One of their cuvées, the Brut Nature Non Dosé Sans Soufre, contains no added sulfur whatsoever.
