Discover Envinate
Envínate is a collective winery project founded by four friends, Roberto Santana, Alfonso Torrente, José Ángel Martínez, and Laura Ramos focused on producing terroir driven wines from some of Spain’s most distinctive Atlantic and volcanic regions. Working across areas such as Tenerife, Ribeira Sacra, and Almansa, Envínate has become a leading voice in Spain’s new wave of minimal intervention winemaking. The project is rooted in a deep respect for place, with vineyards planted on extreme terroirs including volcanic soils in the Canary Islands and steep, terraced slate slopes in Galicia. These challenging environments, combined with old vines and traditional farming, allow for wines with remarkable character, freshness, and mineral complexity. Specializing in indigenous varietals such as Listán Negro, Mencía, and Garnacha Tintorera, Envínate crafts wines that are vibrant, expressive, and site-specific. Each cuvée reflects a particular vineyard or region, highlighting the diversity and identity of Spain’s lesser known terroirs. In the cellar, the philosophy is strictly low intervention, with native yeast fermentations, whole cluster use where appropriate, and minimal sulphur additions. The goal is to preserve transparency and texture, resulting in wines that are energetic, precise, and deeply connected to their origin. At Origine, we feature Envínate as part of our premium Spanish selection, showcasing producers who push boundaries while staying true to terroir and tradition. Their wines represent a contemporary vision of Spain raw, authentic, and highly expressive.
