Roberto Santana, Alfonso Torrente, José Ángel Martínez, and Laura Ramos are the winemakers behind Envínate, a pioneering collective dedicated to producing terroir driven wines from some of Spain’s most distinctive and extreme vineyard sites. As a group, they represent the forefront of Spain’s new wave of minimal intervention winemaking. Working across regions such as Tenerife, Ribeira Sacra, and Almansa, they focus on old vines planted on volcanic, slate, and sandy soils. These diverse terroirs, combined with Atlantic and continental influences, allow for wines with remarkable freshness, minerality, and site expression. Specializing in indigenous varietals such as Listán Negro, Mencía, and Garnacha Tintorera, the team crafts wines that are vibrant, precise, and highly expressive of their origin. Each cuvée is approached as a reflection of a specific place, emphasizing individuality and authenticity. In the cellar, their philosophy is strictly low intervention, with native yeast fermentations, and minimal sulphur additions. This results in wines that are energetic, textural, and transparent, offering a pure expression of terroir.
