Château de la Liquière is a benchmark family owned winery located in the Faugères appellation of Languedoc Roussillon, in southern France. With a winemaking heritage spanning several generations, the estate has played a key role in elevating the reputation of Faugères, producing wines that are authentic, expressive, and deeply rooted in their terroir. The estate spans around 60 hectares of vineyards, all planted on distinctive schist soils one of the defining features of the region. These soils, combined with Mediterranean climate and hillside exposures, produce wines with mineral complexity, structure, and freshness. The vineyards are farmed organically, with a strong focus on sustainability, manual harvesting, and preserving biodiversity. Working primarily with Mediterranean varietals such as Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, and Mourvèdre, Château de la Liquière crafts wines that are rich, balanced, and expressive. In the cellar, a low intervention approach using gravity-fed systems, native yeasts, and careful aging ensures purity of fruit and a clear expression of terroir.
