Tucades
In the local dialect, "Tucade" is a whim, an extravagance, and is more or less the story of this wine. 2001 is its first vintage. This rich and complex wine retains all of the fitness of its terroir. "Tucade" will only be produced during exceptional years. Perfect with red meat, roast hare or stew.

Winery
Château la Liquière represents 60 hectares under vine, all situated within the zone producing AOC Faugères. Every vintage the vineyard produces 10 different wines. Our offerings are the expression of our terroir, produced by our expertise and experience. Our red grape varieties are composed of Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, Mourvedre and Cinsault, while our white grape varieties are represented by Grenache blanc, Roussane, Terret and Clairette.
Two wineries are located on the estate : a traditional one, equipped with underground vats in order to work with gravity, and a modern, more functional entity.
The wines are aged in different types of containers (225-litre barrels, demi-muids, vats…) in view of determining the best type of maturing and blending.
